Hi Yaniv,

Ok, I'll read those emails.

I need some kind of digital filters right away
so we can show the software to some folks who
know a lot about meditation protocols.

They can be temporary filters but I need something
this week that can do the following:

1. the user asks to put a threshhold on any frequency
band, for example, 9.5-14.8 Hz.

2. program sets up a filter for that exact frequency band
in real time.

3. the filter calculates the amplitude or magnitude and

4. the filter also calculates the phase.

I've been doing this with FFT so far, but it's too slow
for real use.

Do you know if I can run a stream of real numbers
through an IIR filter, than calculate the phase of the
result by making an in-phase and quadrature-phase
transform of it by multiplying by sine and cosine
values?

Rob
