we have two questions for you :
1. can you help us find some neurofeedback practicioner
in rob sacks area or jeorg area - that's willing to help us
check the eeg machine ?

Yes. I need details of their locations zip code, phone code, city, etc.

2. do you know somebody who could help as get our hands on a copy of
iec601 - it's standard for medical devices ?

No. I don't know about the iec601, just about the FDA's 510K. I have it on
pretty good authority that so long as the device is not sold with medical
claims, no 510K is needed.

3. can you reccomend on info (books , etc ) to learn how use
neurofeedback on your own ?
are they need or only the software is enough ?<

I offer tapes for sale. The Neurofeedback foundations course listed on my
website is excellent.

I also feel it is wise for beginnners in neurofeedback to start off with a
training session with an expert practitioner who can teach how to place
electrodes, detect artifact and help identify brain wave frequencies,
placement strategies to meet user goals. Some of this could be done with a
tutorial-- showing examples fo what EEG artifact looks like, giving an
image of the 10-20 placement map, preferably 3-d, and discussing rationales
for common placements and frequencies used.

Books:

Jim Robbins Symphonyin The Brain
Anna Wise's High Performance Mind
Evan's et al Quantitative EEG and Neurofeedback

My website has hundreds of free abstracts from past Futurehealth Winter
Brain neurofeedback meetings. Go to Meetings Central for the links.

Also, I will soon be adding an e-book to the web, which will be accessible
ater paying a subscription fee. It has 35+ chapters on neurofeedback.
