hi
i tried to see how to find a lawyer to our group to help with legal
issues , by sending a question to askme.com
this is the answer i got :
marciadeborah gave this response on 2/24/2001:
Hi:
First, congratulations on your goal of offering a medical device at
an affordable cost. One of the greatest problems facing our
population today is that medical costs are getting out of hand, and
with the graying of America we will all suffer.
I do not know if you are in a metropolitan area, but I will assume
you are for this answer.
First, I would call the local Bar Association and explain your needs.
It might be appropriate to find out the name of the person in charge
of the pro bono committee and write to that person on letterhead
stationary. Enclose documentation that supports the validity of your
group, its goals, the device. That may produce some results.
Check with your research librarian for the largest law firms in your
area. Most large firms do some pro bono work. Here might be the best
pool of people available for your group.
You might also check Martindale Hubble which is a guide to lawyers
with bio information (available on the new, use google.com.) Find
your geographic area and read carefully. Perhaps there is someone
with just the background you need. Write with appropriate material
and ask for help. Try to arrange a meeting.
A last resort might be to speak with the Administrator at your local
hospital (choose the largest one) and ask for references.
There are lawyers out there who will help but you will have to look;
use your network with people to spread the word.
Good luck!
anybody thinks he could work on this matter ,a ccording to the answer?
i realy would do it myself ,but i'm traveling ,and for this task ,
internet itself doesn't seem to be enough .
sincerly
