Equipment Authorization DATA is available in several ways:
* Internet: The database data on the Internet site is an
extract of granted equipment in the master database at the FCC
Lab. The files are organized in one year groups going back to
1987. The data in these files is the same as the data on the
Public Notices we issue every month and the Radio Equipment List.
The actual files are in DBASE III format (a common database
format readable by a large number of programs). These files can
be found on the FCC's Internet site address:
Then supply the Grantee Code (the first three characters of the FCC
ID) (NOTE: there are no number "1" and/or "0" in the Grantee Code)
and the Product Code (all of the remaining characters, including
any dashes.)
NOTE: Pending identification numbers are not available to the public.
* Status Line: a status line is available Monday through Thursday
from 2 PM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time. Call 301-362-3040.
* Part 68 ID Numbers (Part 68 is mostly telephone equipment)
