Re: website & hardware name

I agree with Jim here, it is not about persuading a company to
manufacture the machine as their own product, but paying them to make
our product for us, so they would have no rights to the product at
all. So the name we pick, in my opinion, _should_ apply to the
product itself.

I don't think we need to be a nonprofit corporation for this; the
design will of course be free for everybody, so people could either
build it themselves or pay an engineer to build it for them. But we
should form a relationship with one or two electronics firms to build
them in bulk for people (like me) who have no knowledge of
electronics. We could, for example, have an online ordering service
on our website, and as soon as we have 100 orders, ask the company for
another 100 eeg's. What do people think?

I agree that we should keep the names coming, but it would be nice if
more people participated, as until we finalise a name we cannot
complete the website, and therefore cannot make ourselves more widely
known. Jim, you mentioned you didn't like the current suggestions -
care to post your own? I would particularly like to hear from those
involved in designing the hardware and software, as they have done the
most work and their opinions would be very valuable. Just to repeat
my ideas, let's pick a name that's suitable for a machine which will
(hopefully) be in every home in a couple of years' time.
