Re: Website

Lucas and everyone

I think we should organise the poll in the following way:

1. Split the names into 2 different polls (as only 25 are allowed per
poll).
2. Members vote for EVERY name they DISLIKE in each poll. This way we
can eliminate the most unpopular names.
3. We then open 1 new poll with the remaining names. Doesn't matter
if there's 5 or 25. Members vote for as many as they like.
4. The name with the most votes wins.

What do people think? If nobody objects in the next day or so we
should just do it and move on to more interesting (and important)
topics.

I would offer to buy the website but I'm not sure how much longer I
can carry on with it, as my immediate future is very uncertain. I
will know more within a couple of weeks. I guess it makes more sense
for Lucas to set it up, but it doesn't really matter. Lucas, Can you
let us know asap if you want to do it? If not then go ahead Moritz,
and let us know how we can pay you. We've got 4 people willing to pay
now. Anyone else?

Regards

Eric

good ideas on how to cut the list down? I was thinking maybe the main
people (yaniv/hardware/software/etc) could eliminate a few.

whose name should it be put under? It would have to be someone who
plans to stay with the group indefineately. I think Yaniv is the first
obvious choice for this. Yaniv, do you plan to continue on with the
group, or move on to other projects once everything is established?

Eric, what are your long term plans for the project? Do you plan to
help out till it is done or keep working on it indefineately?
