I think we are safe suggesting that the machine could be used for such practices, but outright saying it could be a fuzzy area to be in (especially legally). There is a program (shareware) that uses binaural beats techniques to promote certain frequencies through sound.
They have a pretty good way of suggesting but not outright supporting that it could be used for meditation and enlightenment purposes. They tell of possible proven (or nearly proven) uses and then explain that many people believe it could be used for other purposes. go to www.bwgen.com then click "information" to see what I mean. I think this is the safest way (legally) todo it. They do fully support that the program is useful for meditation (ina general sense), which I think is safe. But if we are to suggest anythingbeyond that general idea, then I think we would need to word it similiarly.

hi
so about poetential uses , what about using the device for
meditation practice ? or getting into deep theta/ deep delta ?
is it safe for the private user ?
and also the crossover frequency ? is it safe for the average user ?
because alpha/theta is very similar to all the above .
thanks yaniv .
