Actually, let me ask you to back up a little,
because maybe I missed the point. What functions
would be done on the sound card?
Right now, the split between Joerg's machine and
my software is that the machine shoots a series of
time-series voltage measurements into the PC
serial port; the software does DSP type stuff to
those voltages using the CPU in the PC.
Would the sound card be taking over from the
current hardware or the software?
