I don't know the current version's requirements because
I've received no reports from anybody who has tried it
on a machine slower than 200 MHz. It runs fine at that
speed.
The program was designed to scale itself back if it finds
itself on a slow machine, but in the current version, the
scaling has to be done manually (e.g. by selecting a
slower update rate or shorter epoch length on the menus).
Whatever the program's minimum requirement may be, it
could easily be made much lower by disabling the graphics.
They are by far the most CPU-intensive part of the program.
