Frans--These are conventional 10 mm gold-plated electrodes that look
like they were manufactured by Grass. They are attached to the scalp
with 10-20 electrode paste or some similar, mildly adhesive
conductive preparation. I've used electrodes like these or very
similar ones for years, and don't mind continuing to use them.
Everyone else in the group, however, is looking for a more elegant,
more easily attached, and less messy kind of electrode. A couple of
different designs have come to light, including one designed by a
group member, and you can find more information about them somewhere
in our message archives if you're interested. One very intriguing
new design places large electrodes in a helmet that the trainee puts
on his head before starting the training.
