Hi !
This is escpecially for Joerg. I found some nice optocouplers from Vishay,
CNY65B. They comply to IEC601 and tons of other norms. Have a look at
http://www.vishay.com/products/optoelectronics/OPCvde.html
And they´re cheap ( <1$) and available at Reichelt. I´m trying to design a
RS232 interface without external power supply based on them for our design.
