I think the problem is no more money . I can register (and pay) the domain when the group decides , and have an available cablemodem ever online (now with 3Gb , can be more soon
since there are 15 Gb of MP3 that can be deleted ) .
If the main webpage works only to index and redirect the several issueswe are dealing with ( because our members will have at least some ten pages to host the site ) do you think are there risks to "spray" the focus ?

Now it seems can be a good time to execute since the group is motivated and even
showing anxiety for that .

Certification doesn't burden our website, but maybe website cause troublesfor certification .
Joerg , explanations please . Is there a way of make this job with www.openeeg.org without mention specifically RS232EEG ?

I have been planning on doing that myself Eric. I have been putting it off,
partially due to money issues. If you have the money and don't mind putting
it down, then feel free, but otherwise, I will do it as soon as I can. I
hope to get it soon so that no one else takes it.

as for where to register the site. I have been looking at a few places (plus
places suggested by list members). Unfortunately you have to be careful when
registering a site. I know a few people that have been screwed (through
money and/or service issues) by not reading the fine print. So we have tobe
cautious with places that offer cheap registration.

As for hosting, I have a few places in mind. Currently I was looking at a
place that offers free hosting with no ads, they do this to promote their
paid hosting which is a bit more reliable and secure and only costs $11 (US)
per month. They also allow asp scripting which means I can throw in some
more interactive features into the site.

Another option for hosting I was thinking about, at least as a temporary
solution, is that I am soon getting a cable modem. And If I can get a static
ip I could host the site right on my computer. I am not sure on how
effective this would be though. I was thinking this would be a good
inexpensive solution at least in the beginning. After a while we would
probably have to move it to a faster server.
