Hi

I really don't think this is much of an issue.

I agree with Rob Kall that people should see a qualified practicioner
for medical problems - I did not see our project as a DIY head injury
repair kit!

Also, I believe that nfb practicioners' fees would go DOWN if they did
not have to pay so much money for their equipment. They would then
only be charging for their knowledge and experience, and as Rob
has said, there is nothing wrong with that.

As for putting a sticker on the hardware or a message in the software,
I do not think we need to bother. Everybody has heard of Linux, and
hopefully in a couple of years everybody will have heard of Openeeg
(or whatever we end up calling it). If it's good, and it's free, and
information is available, people will know.

Finally, although I am in no way suggesting that people should not
seek out a qualified practicioner, I think we should supply all the
information people need to go it alone. Not everybody has access to a
specialist, and not everybody wants to use the technology for medical
purposes. The more accessible neurofeedback is, the quicker it will
take off, and the better it will develop.

Regards

Eric
