some issues

A couple of points

1. Lucas, what's going on with our website? Is it ready or does it
need more work? Let me know if you want me to do more work on it.

2. Well, Moritz brought up the name issue again. I think we really
have to decide what to do about the term "eeg". Specifically, does a
product need to be certified in order to bear the name "eeg"? We
really need to find this out, or we will have to change the name.

3. There is a problem with "legal" issues, as our product will
hopefully be available in many different countries, with different
laws. What may be OK in the US could be a problem in Germany, etc
etc. Getting "a lawyer" in the group will not help much in this
respect. Therefore I think we should avoid *anything* that could have
legal implications, and put disclaimers everywhere. The idea of an
NGO is great, but an NGO can be sued. Our group in its present form
cannot. The further we can go while still remaining a group of
faceless, anonymous people, the better.

4. I feel there is a danger of taking too much of a long-term view of
things here. We are discussing certification, the possibility of
getting sued, etc... important topics, but all these things are a
long, long way off. I feel we should concentrate on finishing a
workable system, getting some machines made for group members to
test/play with, and then take things from there. I think it's safe to
say that nobody in this group will sue the group!

Regards

Eric
