Joerg,
If someone wanted more input channels, say eight or perhaps even up to 20, can the circuit itself be scaled up to acommplish this?

The digital board V02 has been a copy of the digital part of RS232EEG01
and has not been finished (some of the traces do not fit on the board area).
Currently Moritz works on the new digital board design with
enhanced optoisolation.
I am thinking about some changes with the 2x9 pinhead connector, that
connects the digital pcb with up to 3 analog pcbs:
It would be advantageous to include 8 additional digital signals to the pinhead
connector so that we get a multi purpose bus with analog and digital signals.
A basic configuration would consist of :
1 analog pcb
1 digital pcb
1 front panel pcb with 4 LEDs and 4 Switches
1 ribbon cable with 3 sockets for the bus connection
A full configuration would consist of :
3 analog pcbs
1 digital pcb
1 front panel pcb with 4 LEDs and 4 Switches
1 ribbon cable with 5 sockets for the bus connection
Regards,
Joerg
