As an addendum, there are a lot of other people flying somewhat close
to the "medical paractice" flame. The Monre Institute and Steven
Halpern sell a number of tapes and CDs that are explicitly advertised
as EEG entrainment devices. HeartMath is selling devices for
training heart rate variability. Light/sound mind machines are sold
with claims verging on the clinical (e.g. treatment of ADHD). All of
these things seem further "over the line" than anything we are
proposing. I really think we are relatively safe in our entire
approach, both with regard to the name and the products themselves.
