hi to all the nfb professionals !
i have found this abstract (look down) in future health , and i feel
it some
ineresting direction nfb/bfb is heading .
rob kall , can you mabe tell us more about this ?
now , the software group has started to work , and i think that
since to my opnion , one of the next versions of cheapeeg would
support this kind of training - so we need to know what's the
requirements from the software to do this .
the best way of course is if lynda kirk would be interested to joing
us at least in integrating the options for her way , in the sw /hw .
so rob , could you contact her and see if she's interested ?
if not some psych could define requirements ( for example how many
channles, what kind ...) ?
also another thing -maybe the psychs could help defining software
requiremnts ? i know now it's probably very technical computer
stuff , i don't know if it's the right time but do talk a bit with
the software guys to see if you can help in the process .
sincerly yaniv vilnai .
W9Q2 The B I G Picture: Weaving Peripheral BioFB, Energy Therapies, &
Coaching with EEG Neurofeedback
Lynda Kirk
ABSTRACT: Integrating peripheral biofeedback (EMG, TEMP, SCL, HR,
etc.) with EEG neurofeedback can greatly benefit the client by
shortening training time; improving generalization of learned skills
and states; and increasing internal locus of control. This holistic
combination more quickly results in a healthy change in the client's
mindbody "parking place".
In addition, the use of energy therapies (e.g. TFT - Thought Field
Therapy) with EEG neurofeedback can quickly help the client resolve
emotional and physical pain, stress, and/or trauma that may be
slowing the training.
Effective coaching methods can greatly help the client improve skills
and transfer the training to specific contexts in the "real world."
In this workshop, the "when, where, why, and how" of integrating
peripheral biofeedback, energy therapies, and coaching will be
outlined.
