Hi,

An interesting biofeedback device:

And how I have implemented it for HAL:

peripheral devices already connected to my computer and it simplifies
connection and setup of new devices.
OK, but on the other hand (from the implementation point of view) USB is
rather a complex bus system comparing to the simple RS232, not even talking
about the SW, OS requirements and older PCs. Using RS232 you can
'push-and-pull just a single wire' (Rx).
Does anyone know about _cheap and simple_ (home-made) USB implementation?
Maybe microcontrollers with USB interface? Or standard USB-infrared
interface connection (should be better than IRDA, by range and speed)?
By the SW side, different DLLs can work for RS232 and USB.

I attached some idea about sample storage (EDF standard). Check links
included on the pages, too.
