"Profiling" was requested by one of the
testers who used ElectricGuru while I
was working on it, so I added the buttons,
but I never wrote the code.
I don't know whether the word "profile"
is widely used with this meaning in
neurofeedback. I took the word from
the tester.
The tester wanted a screen that showed
a summary of a whole session. For
example, suppose a person took EEG
readings for 30 minutes. At the end of
that time, the profile screen would
show average values. The brain mirror,
for example, would be frozen with averages
for that whole period of time.

If you're using the ElectricGuru trace
(waveform) display to test the machine,
please be aware that the default settings
cause half the input data (every other
point) to be discarded. (Well, they aren't
really discarded, but they don't display on
the wave graph.) To prevent this,
set "Preferences: Trace: Show which samples"
to "All."
