Here's some great news, folks! Jim Peterson
has agreed to take the initiative in designing an
interface for our neurofeedback program.
This came about because Yaniv, Waldemar,
and I thought Jim would do a great job, and we
asked him, and he agreed.
Jim's going to help us figure out the actual
screens and menus that will appear in the
program. He'll propose ideas of his own
and collect ours too and when he's finished,
we'll have drawings or mockups of the actual
program. Then the programmers can take those
drawings and write the actual code.
I've suggested to Jim that he might want to work
in a team with a programmer. That's partly
because the programmer can help advise him
on which features should be implemented
initially and which should be postponed
until later versions. And partly because the
programmer can make the mockups. And
partly because that same programmer will
come out of the process knowing more about
the program than anyone else, and he or she
will be in a good position to become the
program's architect or lead programmer.
Only problem with this is -- nobody's volunteered
to be the programmer! If you're interested, please
send an e-mail to Jim directly or post something
here.
Regards,
Rob
