I got this information from Robert Hamilton:

Sounds promising, doesn´t it ? We should contact Luigi :)

Here's something that might be of interest to you: Luigi Bianchi has
developed a biofeedback Software Development Kit (SDK) that is to be
released soon as freeware. The following are some quotes from his web page:

"A set of C++ classes have been defined in order to easily develop a
Bio-Feedback system. They have been designed with the aim of being
independent on the platform used (both SW and HW) because a main goal is to
use it with a Palm PC or in an embedded system. Also code reuse was a main
goal, because it is fundamental for disables to have a wide range of
opportunities to use every residual capability that they have. Matrix
computation and FFT routines are also included."

"The Bio-Feedback SDK helps you to develop a BCI system, providing an Object
Oriented Framework that is highly portable under different Operating Systems
and adaptable to a wide range of disabilities. Furthermore, it has been
designed with an high abstraction level with respect to the hardware to make
it possible (and easy) to use multiple and mixed input sensors (EMG, breath,
voice, digital video, EEG) in order to use all the patients residual
capabilities or to change the input/output devices without the necessity to
rebuild the whole system. "

"The Bio Feedback SDK can be obtained upon request to me. Please, note that
actually it lacks of documentation, but it will be available soon (I will
release the first draft in September). "

This week I wrote to Mr.Bianchi requesting a copy of the SDK. This was his
reply:

"Actually I've submitted a paper to a scientific journal and I'm waiting for
the answer from the editor. As he just wants unpublished articles I cannot
release it until it has been accepted. I think that in the next 30 days I'll
have an answer from him, that's just the time needed to finish the new help
file!"
