Cool, I'm going to try loading that firmware onto one of
these "MIT handy boards" that I have lying around. They
use the 68HC11A1FN processor and have 32k battery backed
static RAM.

Yes, it works.

I would prefer just a gif or jpeg file. I plan to just put the parts
on a peice of permanent (soldered) breadboard.
