And pricing is reasonable ...
1 channel System is $1,300
2 channel System is $2,300
Video Game Expansion Pak $280
Virtual Reality Expansion Pak $60
Infra-Red Expansion Pak $600
Muscle Interaction Expansion Pak $60
Pin Input Expansion Pak $20
X-10 Expansion Pak $80
^^^^
This is appliance control!
I am doing this with my wearables using
the 900Mhz wireless X-10 firecracker module
The infrared expansion pack allows control of TVs and VCRs
and CD players ... anything that using standard IR codes!
They have something called MindOS ... freaky ...
The basic idea of MindOS is that a physical or virtual or
physical and virtual space and its contents (presence
detection for TVs, stereos, lights, cable boxes, etc) are
tracked and as a person with a wearable or implanted
interpretive and transmitive device negotiates that space
and its contents a custom operating system for mental
control and interaction is put into place for each separate
item or parameter area. From that point on the person
interacts mentally with the item or area using the operating
system to perform tasks. When a person leaves this item or
area the control is left to it's own operational design
tasks.
