Soundcard 'Module' & Hardware Processing 'Module'

John & Andreas:

That's an interesting idea!

A MODULARIZED design so that the EEG amplication circuit could be plugged
into a soundcard (cheaper/quicker version), *OR* it could be plugged into
the remaining CCTs for the 'advanced' version with additional hardware
performance.

I would also suggest that there could be a large number of channels
available on the soundcard version, because all EEG input channels could be
frequency shifted to different ranges within the soundcard's range (thus 8
channels or 16 channels with 1 soundcard is still feasible).

Perhaps the software guys could consider making the actual hardware decoding
circuitry a separate module from the rest, so we could alternatively use a
soundcard processing module?

My only concerns is that there may be interference from the harmonics for
each of teh channels frequency shifted around, which may add to the
complexity. I will look into this, ask around, and get back to you guys.
