Dear Andreas:
I would like to demonstrate to you that the earth revolves around the sun. I order for you to believe that, you have to look through my telescope. Now you may think my telescope is not accurate, so I will show you how to build your own telescope that is of high enough quality to be able to see that phenomenon. But unless you take that step you have no reason to believe this. Everybody knows that the sun revolves around the earth, it is obvious. You would be justified at burning me at the stake.
Therefore unless you have an accurate Brain Wave Monitor of sufficient quality to see what is "really" going on, it is futile to discuss neurofeebackprotocols.
I have developed extremely effective protocols that help in the areas that Doug mentioned and many others, but Doug does not believe it because he hasno telescope. I have supplied the schematics, source code and display programs to build a pretty good telescope and no one is interested.
Let's stand around and admire and discuss the emperors clothes. Let's search the net for the improved versions of the emperors clothes. Lets have a discussion group on how to improve the emperors clothing. Let's design fuzzy logic and fancy artificial intelligence programs to come up with better clothes for the emperor.
Andreas, please finish building the telescope and don't get sidetracked by BS and wishful thinking.

Hey, then let's kick some butt! :) (Or maybe not. Offending people is
not a very clever thing to do, but I think moving this discussion to
the biofeedback list would create a few waves.)

There's always that angle... :-( Biofeedback does however look a lot
more credible than other alternative/new age mind
altering "therapies" (I can think of half a dozen without trying)
that are based on utter nonsense rather than science.

Andreas
