Dear Jim Peters:

I had asked Dr. Edith Jurka to order me an extra set. She is the owner of the Mind Mirror that I played with for a few years.
I really like their electrodes because they are so simple and easy to maintain and cheap to make. I used the same set for over 10 years. Basically they take a regular button about 1 inch diameter and attach a male snap to it. This snap is chrome or nickel plated and that gets corroded very quickly so after a few cleanings you are left with just brass. They have milled out a 5/8 inch circle that holds a foam sponge material that you saturate with conductive paste. It is this foam part that touches the skin. The male snap is the same size as a ( female ) 9 volt transistor battery clip.
( For some reason I do not remember having the offset voltage problem that Joerg is so concerned about. I used DC coupling with a preamp gain of 100 before the AC coupling capacitor.)
If there were to be any interest I could make a drawing so people could make their own.
I have a milling machine and lathe so I could make a few these electrodes for a nominal price.
I would like to hear what you found regarding electrodes, they might be better? What are they and how much and where do you get them?

Thanks.
I E-mailed the address on the site, and it turned out to be Neil
Hancock, who seems to be in California now. He said to get the book
from a bookseller, or else ring the number on the web-site, which is
apparently Isabel Cade's number. I'll try again once I get a chance.
They only do electrodes for their own customers.
