Hi,
on
http://www.jhansmann.de/eeg/eeg.html
you can find the new schematic of the modularEEG amplifier section.
It is partially verified by LTspice simulations and
a simplified prototype (comEEG with DRL)
Nearly each part of the new design can be bypassed, because it is
modular in itself:
The optional parts are:
1) input ESD/user protection
2) DRL circuit
3) anti-alias filter
4) virtual ground (can be replaced by external +-5V supply, additional clipping stage required to protect ADC inputs in this case)
So it is possible to build a "light" version without the above
parts.
The new design does not use shield drivers because they do not make much sense
together with a DRL. Also without shield drivers HF rejection is much easier.
Regards,
Joerg
