Thank you for your willingness to help. I have spent many years looking atall kinds of brain monitors and the slink12r.exe is my attempt to get the best of all the features that I found. I know that my GUI is awful crude, but a lot of work went into the guts of it. Please look at it some more. Iwould like to see you incorporate these features into your bwview program.I do not want to get into any arguments with you about whether the waterfall is better than the voice print display. Just look at it as an option.

I gave the right channel the color "red" and the left as "green" and offsetthem vertically by 1 inch or so just so they do not overlap. The brain wave display is very important.

I would be very happy if you just copied my DOS slink12r.exe word for word and then we could play with it!
If you or Dave or Doug could set me up so I can compile the code and do some tweeks, that would be great. I am not a programmer, but I wrote most of the code in the slin12r.exe. I would not know how to compile it though. My programmer helper wrote a batch file and that worked for years for me. Things I don't know how to do is how to set parameters from the user withouthaving to recompile the program.
I have lots of things to suggest that I did not have the skill, money or time to implement.

Yes, I would very much like to develop BWView further. I have ideas
for a better display (using colour to extend the visible range), and I
could probably do some kind of a waterfall, at least as an experiment.
Actually, I have a list of about 15 TODO items.
Just so you understand where my time is going, I'm also involved as a
volunteer in a campaign against corrupt audio CDs and the EUCD in the
UK (the EUCD is the European version of the US DMCA law). I'm also
trying to develop my web-site.
Anyway, I'm ready to give this some more time now.

Do you mean having two channels displayed in the same space,
overlapped ? Or two areas like the present one, with one stacked
above the other ?
Anything anyone else needs in there, let me know. (I know I have to
add the format to handle Dave's files).
It would be good to get Jim-M with a working build environment too, if
he has some tweaks he'd like to make. But I don't want to duplicate
work with Doug if he's looking at that.
I could also add an option to emulate the traditional
FFT-of-windowed-data analysis, by fixing the window-width instead of
varying it with the wavelength. Would this be useful to anyone ?
