Hi folks.. I'll try to make this short..
Just wanted to say hi to all, and present myself a little.
(My written english ain't too god, but i hope U can get
the "essence")
I'm a 27 year old "jack-of-all-trades", living in Norway.
My primary education is in the field of electro-tech, probably
because I've been messing with wires and volts since age 4..
I have been working around the field of computer-controll,
programming, home-automation, audio/video equip. etc..
I have an electronics-lab, fearly well equipped, and this is
both a hobb, and my profesion. I make my money partley on servicing
medical Laser equipment, theater light consoles and the like.
Anyway, some years ago, I was scanning the net, looking for design
planes on eeg/ekg equip. found some then, found some now, but no'one
seems really to get there..
I remember there was a "forum/group" back then, but they spent a
while discussing "how to" and "why to", had a lot of good ideas, but
everything turned out to complicated for the "group" to handle
in a usable way, and i think the group died because they didn't get
anywhere.
I have not had the time yet to scan trough all old messages in this
group, since it was quite a lot, but QUESTION:
Do U have any kind of "summary/report" of how far, and what U (the
group) have done so far, or do I have to scan all messages to get the
idea..???
>From the few mesages i have read so far, U seam pretty well going,
and I guess I'll just follow on whats happening for a while, to se if
there is anything I can help with.
Just to round this message up, here's a couple of points I have
noted, studying other projects like this:
(might be of no interest, but better to write it, and let U ignore,
than to sit on it)
1. The lo level amplifier, is the key to a good design (guess U know
that already) and an excelent, "overkill" D/A circuit and software
doesn't help if the first stage is poor.
2. Many projects i have seen puts to much effort into making a "great"
sampling/digitizing circuit, while for a 1 to 4 channel sampler
for a project like this, really can be made wery simple, and
really cheap. After all, we ar talking of freks. in the low-low
spectre here..
3. mmm really.. I think I'll stopp here for now.. ';)
well.. thats me.. and I hope u don't think i came in here to try
and teach U people how to do this, that was not my intension.
U seam really well going, and I only wanted to let U know I had
joined, and what I might could be of help with.

So Long folks...
Bob
