Hi Jim,
probably yes. The first ADC test could simply be audio digitizing, so
you can listen to the results afterwards. :-)

Ok. The digital section is almost done. The analog is a combinatorial
nightmare... haven't even started on it.
Any comments on the virtual ground by the way? Perhaps I should
buffer the CMOUT pin (with a voltage-follower) as close to the ADC as
possible? (And now I notice I've forgotten a ground reference for it.
Oops.)

consultant for a company doing Military contract work. I designed
the digital front end for a phase locked loop 1 gigahertz
oscillator. This involved doing microstrip PC board layouts for the
gigahertz ECL logic prescaler divider circuit. I made the prototype
using a Dremil tool and a 5 mil thick cutting wheel and a razor blade.

That was positively funny. :o)
Then I think we can settle on factory made PCB's. My primary tools
(most used first) are multimeter, knife and soldering iron. Notice
that the soldering iron comes in on third place... hunting down
minute shorts and removing them is what most of the assembly time is
used for.

Andreas
