I was honestly trying to resolve something here, and I obviously
failed completely. I spent 3-4 hours writing and deleting much worse
E-mails than this in order to get it down to something I felt I could
send.

Perhaps *you* need to read what you write as well, just to make sure
it is what you thought you wrote.

Give me honest lurkers any day ! I will answer questions all day if
it will genuinely help people. I have provided lots of information to
you too, but so far I see no hope and I have 99% given up.

Did you ever try BWView ? You probably think it is not worth looking
at because you are doing a high-level design and you're not interested
in low-level things. You're just interested in inputs and outputs.
Well, if your high-level design doesn't take into account the nature
of the data and the nature of the analysis we can do on it, it will be
totally inappropriate, and you will have wasted all the time and
attention you took from the list.

I have nothing more to say now, because I've said it all several times
already, and none of it has made any impression. Obviously we have to
just let you do your thing, whatever the cost.

Jim
