ECG and respiration

Hi all,

in a discussion with Jim Meissner, I came across this:

http://www.physionet.org/physiotools/edr/

It is a description of ECG derived respiration - EDR, including C-
source.

A single channel ECG is sufficient to extract a respiration signal,
two channels provide better accuracy.

Regards,

Andreas

PS. I won't be making any long posts on the list for a while - saves
time I can use for hardware development. If you have something to say
to me or want me to comment on, please mention my name in your post
(or use the back-channel) - or I won't answer, however tempting it
may be! :-)
DS.
