Hi Joerg,
there seems to be a problem with the .asc file. It is almost empty...
Unfortunately, I can't comment on this - don't know anything about
thermistors.

RS Components (and others I'm sure) has NTC resistors in 0805
packages. Small enough? :-) Time constant is 4 seconds, B=4100, R =
22k. They also sell bead-shaped resistance-temperature curve matched
NTC's that are easier to use, time constant is 10 seconds, 2.4mm in
diameter.
