Yup. Unless you know your parallel-port and can do the ins and outs
yourself.

Regardless, Windows NT/2k/XP users will need this when they are
trying to program an AVR microcontroller via the parallel port
(unless they have that $30 ISP-dongle from Atmel) ... :
