Hi all,
the latest and hopefully final schematics for my project are
uploaded. PCB layouts will follow this week. It's not built yet, but
since this is my second building round, I expect it to be fairly
straightforward and uneventful. (And I'll be getting me a nice 12-bit
EEG biofeedback system, yipee!)
Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buildcheapeeg/files/
and click on "hardware design" followed by "TinyEEG".
Any comments (good or bad) are welcome!
I'm sorry to say this isn't a cheap and simple, beginner project
(quite the opposite), but if you don't mind spending a couple of
hundred $ (and quite possibly quite a few hours) on a system that has
the potential of being as good as a Procomp+ (a $3500 device), and
know how to build surface mount electronics, then go right ahead. It
still has untested parts, but unless Joerg or Jim, or Sar etc. have
any objections (;-) I think it will work.
By the way, all files are released under the GNU general public
licence.
The cheap, beginner project is coming up, but probably not for a
while yet (July?). If anyone is interested, I can post the schematics
and final layout within a week or so, so you can have a go at right
away. There are no guarantees though, but it would cost you
relatively little to try and fail. (about $100-$150)
Regards,
Andreas
