>From what I read on www.biocybernaut.com, it seems like what would be
most useful is to have something which constantly demands that they
increase, eg., their alpha wave production. This means that you want
a game with only one axis of control. Not only that, but you want one
end of the axis to represent "good", or "winning", and one end to
represent "bad", or "losing". The only thing I can think of which
fits these criteria is a race, and not only a race, but a race in
which you don't have to steer. As an example, you could have a runner
(or vehicle, or whatever) which automatically stays in its own lane,
but you have to be faster than the other runners (or vehicles). In a
normal game, this would be a no brainer -- joystick forward, attach
rubber band, go eat lunch while the rubber band clocks up a high
score. But this way you could have them race races against, eg., 8
other (computer) players, and when they win 3 in a row, they move up a
division (to better competition).
However, I haven't seen anything like this, so it would be "from
scratch".
Also, if it's possible, could one of the sourceforge project admins
make a link on the main project page to the buildcheapeeg list
(probably it should be its own item in "Public Areas", or possibly a
subsection under "Public Forums".
Thanks,
