I'm still curious about this alternative as I may have
started the thread on biofeedback. I don't understand the
method you (Joerg)explain but it appears you have a working
concept for implementing a soundcard as the A>D converter.
Wouldn't this greatly simplify the "outboard" hardware?
Or would it mainly reduce the workload of the controller
and pass more of the work to the host computer? (I presume
this wouldn't add significant cpu load).
I don't mean to complicate the project but if using a
soundcard might greatly reduce cost/complexity of the
hardware portion of the project then I'm wondering if
it might be worth exploring as yet another alternative.
