Dear Friends,
Yaniv left Chandigarh this morning for New Delhi. After some eforts
towards the safety testing, the picture is getting clearer about the
requirements and the finances. AS per one of the testing agency a
comprehensive 601.1 testing could cost US $50,000. Quite contrary to
our mission statement. The main reason for such a high cos involved
is that for the approval there may be requirements for proof of
medical efficacy, electromagnetic compatibility, risk analysis etc
etc.
100 % compliance (towards 601.1) even means that our designers MIGHT
have to make some changes. Since the cost involved is enormous, we
must think of other cheaper options available. So, before I move on,
I would like you to address the following issue:-
Which geographical segment/user base are we aiming at?
-If its only US, then we are virtually without any option.
-If its Europe, something cheaper could be tried.
Anyway, I have the responsibility and would work to get the required
accomplished at the least cost. Much more to follow. I would
appreciate support and guidance for faster decision making.
Thanks
Sanjay P. Sood
