Well that is 57 possible eeg kits for sale. A good
start. I am sure many of those people are patiently
awaiting the production of the kit.
Some questions. The hardware description for the TI
competition seems to be different from the current
design which is posted on the web. Is the final design
going to be same as the TI article? Where is the final
format of this article posted?
I would like to comment on the design described in the article:
1. The stand alone capability of the eeg device is highly
recommended. A portable palm sized unit lends itself
for wider use. However, depending on sampling frequency
and required resolution (0.5hz may be ok) at least a total
of 500 bytes of dynamic FFT memory is required for the two
channels which may have to be as external memory.
2. For the I/O interfaces,
a) Apply a graphic LCD instead of the alphanumeric LCD. This
will give you a graphic display capability. Mind Mirror
and other functions can be implemented. No need for
PC Monitor.
b) Add an LED goggle output for light
c) Add Breath movement sensor (variable resistor strapped
round the chest)
d) Of course, once a plug in I/O (headphone, goggle etc)is available
it has to be opt isolated it because people may connect it
to other equipment which is live.
3. For your software, please include
a) HemiSynch function (for sound and light)
b) Intelligent software where a final state of mind is reached
utilising present eeg patterns which gently coax the
brain pattern using light and sound.

Hi All
Has anybody else noticed that there are suddenly 57 of us? Just a
few months ago there were only 21 or so members in the group. It
would be nice if you "ghosts" would check in and tell us a little bit
about what brings you to us.
