The TI-design is quite different from the current design on Joergīs page.
Which one will be the final design, depends on what we want :)

I fear that the microcontroller described in the article is a little bit too
slow and maybe we should try to implement a real DSP. Soon micorchip will
manufacture nice DSP-microcontrollers. Iīm really looking forward to this.

The cheap alphanumerical LCD allows custom-characters to be designed. Maybe
thatīs enough. Full graphics features would be expensive to implement (at least
30 USD). Itīs all a question about what people would pay for it. Whatīs our
price limit ?
