FOR "DATA ACQUISITION PEOPLE"
I've done ( 10 years ago) an analog-device converter using the simple ADC808 ( for 8 inputs-MUX ) and it worked well ,
saving other kinds of processes (PLL or VCo) - the cost was less than $ 30 ( higher than sound card ).
It can use the exact frequency one wants - ( taking a proper crystal clock , or dividing the absolute value ) .
I shall have the pcb yet . What do you think ?
Instead of a ADC808 on a PC slotcard as a replacement for a soundcard, it would be more favourable
to use the existing RS232EEG-design, that uses an AT90S4433 Processor with integrated 6 channel
10-bit ADC.
Regards,
Joerg
