What about making / modifying an action game (doom / quake, etc) where
your power (or some other variable) increases when approaching the desired
state. It would be interesting to see if one can achieve alpha or lower
states while doing something that normally would pump the brain up to higher
frequencies. The bar showing ones power (or whatever) could be drawn in
two colors, where one color shows the extra power gained from being
at or near the desired frequency.
