I've moved to the 18c452 chip. With it, I'm able to move most
of my proprietary EEG driven light and sound routines, onboard.
Everything, now, is packaged in a Nova Pro 100 case, by Ray Wolfe.
We, still, use the HAL4 serial protocol. No need to get fancy.
