There is the problem of bandwidth. This group is already getting a
lot of postings recently as development is speeding up. Surely anyone
who can handle the additional bandwidth has already subscribed to both
groups ? Perhaps those people who are already subscribed to both
groups could post links to threads in the archives of the other group
when someone touches on something that's already had some useful
discussion, or say "Go and ask in mind-l, because they have some good
people there", or whatever.

Even better, although a lot more work for someone, would be a weekly
or fortnightly summary of activity (like the Debian Weekly News),
listing in one E-mail posted to all three groups a brief summary of
what has been discussed in the three groups over that week, with links
to the archives if possible. That would get the cross-fertilization
you describe without pushing people's bandwidth limits.

Well, a thought anyway.

(One slight technical problem: there is a risk of a loop here -- how
to stop the digest posting from mind-l from getting into the digest
being posted back the other way, and so on ?)
