Not quite $25 for the whole eeg, but following the
simple biosemi input stage it's $25 for all of the
amps for two channels, and it only requires maybe
two dozen resistors and capacitors for the whole
input stage. So add a microcontroller and crystal,
regulator and dc/dc, max232 and opto-couplers, and
that's it. I think it will be around $50 or $60 for
the whole thing (not including electrodes). I'm
sure it will be very noisy compared to ModularEEG,
but I want to do this one just for fun and practice.
I'm moving in three days though, so I can't start
building for a little while yet.
