Like some Linuxes due to the facts what have recently been
happening with Msoft, and their XP, BeeGee's voluntary fd intl. d.l.
to wiggle out of his lawsuit, and possible initiation of the
Buck-A-Nerd multifront invasion attacking students. There would be
better targets, that escape from being their taxes by the billions,
instead of chasing those who create values. Why not get the biggest
crooks first, and not destroy the few hopes that actually create
the values in the first place.

No, definitely not, rather, was searching for minimum and easiest
effort, but was still looking to use freeware tools, experience is
that Linux tools have not been the easiest or fastest way to date,
but, if someone can find a set of tools that are easier to use than
for example VB, that would be then the preference, as there is really
no OS preferences, rather, preference for easiest and fastest way,
and whatever it is, then, that. Just that the certain lib did not
seem that easy at all, to use.

Definitely, and if the linux gurus would start the effort, then,
there would be no reason for the VB idea at all, rather, it was
thrown out from the fact that the linux gurus had not done anything
to date within a year in relation to the software, and compared
to nothing, even VB would have been better, even though it is
primitive and all, and runs on wrong OS, but for some of us, it
would have been faster and easier than C++ & Linux, those of us
who do not have OS experience, just embedded C, Asm and Forth, and
on PC side, just VB and Matlab student version usage, but, now that
the Linux gurus are going to do something, the VB suggestion is
no more valid point.

The MSP430 looked interesting, too, with the free tools,
it should have quite a lot of computing power, compared to
AVR, and an embedde C side, I can write ok, just that I am
no PC/OS C++ writer, that is all, and therefore, the PC side
software needs to be written by someone else than me, if it is
to be written with C++, and as it now seems that someones will,
the better, as my PC code would have probably been too bad anyways.

However, I believe the part of my idea, of using Matlab and Matcom
( those who have it, I do not, but I have tried it at the school )
is still very valid, and could really boost and shorten time on
the math side, and should be used, even if the rest is done with
the linux packages, as, once generated, there is no royalties, and
the generated C++ code is free to be used in the Linux software.

I would expect to see quite a few engineering types on this list
to agree at least with this suggestion, or how ? There must be
some people on this list that have better access to more recent
matlab, and full version of matcom along with it, unlike me, just
know that the combo does good job, unless one is real signal proc.
guru to begin with. Matlab seems to make things easier.
