Definitely, supported, and once the amp+A/D section is solid, one
should consider that as the next thing to do, parallel with PC
software, as the speed/communication improvements, and also
cabling improvements are serious, and now that FTDI is out, no
reason to consider PITA as anything else but something tasty to
eat, with some lamb-meat and tasty peppers and vegetables as
in Kebab. Some PITA breads are tastier that french batongs for
example.
So, future is definitely USB's over RS232, it is already showing
seriosly it's age, and it is gone one day, from everything, due
to the poor distance and speed it has. Sticking too much to past
can be a french batong, too.
