Can anyone confirm that? Btw, what does the data stream from the
RS232EEG look like, is it just a stream of fixed-size data-samples
or is it more complex than that? The channels must be distuingished
somehow I suppose.. Should anything be sent to initiate / end the
sampling or is there no interaction between hardware and software
at all?
Of course it's possible to write software without the hardware
when you have specifications, but one can be pretty sure to have
a few bugs left when done (not to mention that it will be hard
to keep the developers motivated).
Since I am not experienced in electronics and would probably not
be able to build the RS232EEG myself it doesn't help much that
it is the same (? someone confirm please) as the ModEEG from
software point of view. Perhaps I could buy an assembled RS232EEG
from someone on the list?
I must admit though, since the RS232EEG should be obsoleted by the
ModEEG soon (if I have understood correctly) I would rather not
spend much money on it. That depends on how long it will take until
the ModEEG-design is "done" of course.
