Hi everyone !
As it seems to take still some time until the modularEEG can be distributed
to all programming members of our group, let's write a simple simulator.
I think we could do it in a week or less and it would be very useful for our
future work as well. Who's willing to help ?
Some features I think we could include:
- playback of formerly recorded EEG data
- sinewave/frequency generator (to test FFT and so on)
- output to serial port. This way it could be used on Linux on the same
machine as the real Biofeedback Software and on windows maybe using a
second computer
- maybe it could be written in such a way that the simulation subroutine can
be swapped with the modularEEG data routine (they have the same
interface).
- programming language C or C++, maybe commandoline interface is good enough
for the beginning.
I just created the mailinglist openeeg-simulator in order not to annoy all
people here not interested. Therefore, please use the following URL and
sign up if you want to contribute:
https://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=35817
mailinglist openeeg-simulator.
Once you are there, you can also get yourself a sourceforge username, as this
will be useful in the future.
Moritz
