Actually, I'm using intensity (black->white) for amplitude, and colour
to show phase, so there is even more information packed into my
display.
What I'm thinking is possibly having a simple display for the user,
and then to allow someone with an eye for detail to switch to a screen
like this to look for interesting shapes and patterns in the recorded
data.
